Collection: Living Water

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Emily Kulze is from the coastal town of Beaufort, SC where early on she taught herself to paint through observation of the natural world. She bolstered her interest in painting with summer programs and scholarships, eventually, leading her to Wake Forest University.

At WFU she began her pursuit of fulfilling her school motto, Pro Humanitate: the use of knowledge, talents, and compassion to better the lives of others. She graduated with a Studio Art degree and a Pre-allied Health degree in an attempt to integrate creativity, therapeutic interventions, and service to others in her future career.

Currently, Emily has shifted from her role as a Surgical Physician’s Assistant to a stay home mom and full-time artist to satisfy her desire to create and care for others. Most recently, she was a proud participant of Bethesda Row Arts Festival, Art on the Avenue in Del Ray, March 150 at Premiere Gallery, and SHEDC in Georgetown.

This collection, "Living Water,” is a culmination of landscapes, florals, and nostalgic scenes that encourages moments of pause and reflection. Emily remarks, “creating has always been an innate gift that brings me clarity within and spiritual connection with others by rippling peace, inspiration, and relatability into the community."
